Moksha’s charity show raising money for Teenage Cancer Trust was performed to a very high standard. The first half was a classical recital on Sarod by Soumik Datta who was accompanied by his brother Souvid Datta. The second half was opened by a dance piece composed to a piece from Rhythmscapes by Bikram Ghosh. Moksha’s first show was a great success at the Robert Powell Theatre in Salford University. The evening which had a near sell out crowd began with a solo recital from Rishi Banerjee who presented a mixture of Bengali songs from Rabindrasangeet, Atulprasad and Dwijendralalgeeti.
